PPC HALL, MARCH 7, 2021 – His Grace John Wong the Archbishop of Kota Kinabalu Diocese turns out to be the first donor at 9.00 shortly after the boot was opened organized by the church human development in collaboration with the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Penampang Red Crescent Society of their quarterly calendar year activity at St. Michael’s parish hall, adjacent to the St. Michael’s Church.
The first campaign of the year even amidst the COVID 19 pandemic restriction with standard of operation (SOP) successfully managed to collect 48 pints out of 52 registered donors far more than the projected 40 pints, a big thank you to the grateful awareness of the people this time around with multiracial from every works life including the youngsters were participating.
During the afternoon session assistant parish priest Fr. Gilbert Marcus also took his turn to donate after celebrating the first reopening of Bahasa Malaysia 10.30 am Mass after a long period of break joined by several other catechetical teachers before their first committee meeting whom are also gearing up enable to start the Sunday school soonest possible.
Blood donation campaign at St. Michael Church has now gaining its momentum as people especially the faithfully are already getting used to it while other seasonal donors from many parts surrounding this district are timely aware for them to participate during every drive hence therefore proven by its increasing total positive result ever since it started the ongoing periodical activity several years ago.
