Service Appreciations and handing over duties to the newly elected St. Michael’s Penampang Parish members for the period of 2023-2026

Oct 24, 2023…Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Wilfred Atin officiated the handing over duties to the newly elected committee members of St. Michael’s Parish Penampang held at the parish hall functions room. Assistant parish priests Rev. Fr. Gilbert Marcus and Friar Cruzender @Edmond Alek together with Parish Pastoral Chairman Catechist Lewis Juit and Parish Finance & Property Chairman Catechist Ernest Mojikon also witnessed during the simple ceremony.

Fr. Atin in his short notes thanked former committee members for their excellent services namely Catechist Jimmy Totu (Worship) who is now concentrating with his lay movement community of Couples for Christ(CFC) and Catechist Clement Jinidu (Creation Juctice) who is now heading the pastoral committee of Penampang  zone.  

Earlier on Fr. Atin and Friar Cruzender was surprised with well wishes, celebration cake and dinner by committee members led by Parish Pastoral Secretary Datin Tracie Gom. Both priests date of birth falls between closed dates in the month of October..JJ/Soccom
