RENUNGAN MINGGUAN – 17 Julai 2022
I have been listening and reflecting on the theme song of the X World Meeting of Families held in Rome recently. I find the lyrics and music arrangement of the song “We Believe In Love” so inspirational and with many messages for families including all of our own individual families in our parish. I would like to share with your family the verses in English or my attempts to translate some other verses into English. Here goes:
The family is the pathway to Holiness
You are the sign of love
You give hope, joy.
You are in Christ, the way of truth
And bring the Good News to the world
You testify to the beauty of the world.
The family is the way to happiness
To become light and hope to the world.
The family bears witness to Christ’s love
To serve and to share.
From these lines we can rest assured that God, in Christ, is really together with us and he is calling each of our family to respond to His urgent invitation to “Go out and proclaim the Good News”.
May our response be:
We believe in love
We believe in life
We will come with you (Lord Jesus)
